And we saw "Star Trek" in the heart of Universal Studios IMAX theater. MUCH better than expected. It opens with a bang and ends with a bang. Two hours just zips by. Now, if we could only do something about that damn cut every second during a fight scene....

I've never seen them in person, but the tar pits look like the cheesiest damn tourist attraction in the world.
You know, my buddy who was showing me around (and who lives there in LA, i.e. he's sick of showing the same places over and over) barely held his disdain for the tar pits. When he realized I wasn't taking any pictures, he joked "at least take one f**kin picture to make me feel better". And now I can at least say I've been there.
