I saw a film called PROSTITUTES' PROTECTIVE SOCIETY by Barry Mahon that was shot in New York in the late Sixties, and there are lots of lengthy shots of downtown NY at night with jazzy music playing, and there's this vibe that could only come from using those locations in that way. It captures the city at a unique time, despite being a movie about naked women fighting mobsters.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
